Ingredients: Serves: 2

  • 1 bell pepper (any color), thinly sliced

  • 1 bowl of prawns (about 8 pieces), peeled and deveined

  • ½ Tbsp garlic, finely chopped

  • ½ Tbsp light soy sauce

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • A pinch of black pepper

  • (Optional) Chopped green onions for garnish

    Instructions:

    1. Sauté the Garlic: In a frying pan or wok, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add chopped garlic and stir-fry until fragrant (about 30 seconds).


    2. Cook the Bell Peppers: Add sliced bell peppers to the pan. Stir-fry for about 4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.


    3. Add the Prawns: Toss in the prawns and light soya sauce then reduce the heat to medium-low. Cook for about 4–5 minutes, or until the prawns turn pink and are cooked through.


    4. Season: Sprinkle black pepper. Give everything a good toss to coat evenly.


    5. Serve: Plate the stir-fry and garnish with chopped green onions if using. Serve hot with steamed rice or enjoy on its own.
